With the support of the VDMA's Large Industrial Plant Manufacturers' Group the Dresden International University offers a European-wide unique postgraduate MBA-Program „International Commercial & Contract Management“ .
For several years now, mechanical engineering has been suffering from a shortage of young people. There are more open apprenticeships than suitable applicants. But apprentices are important to counteract the lack of skilled workers. Companies can score points with future trainees by offering the right benefits. We would like to present two possible benefits.
On 02.07.2020, the second exchange of experience took place on the subject of "Securing training in the pandemic". In the web-fair the two main topics "training bonus" and "onboarding" of the upcoming trainees were discussed.
German large industrial plant manufacturers are focused in innovation in order to defend their technologie leadership. Consequently, they promote continuous learning and development of business and individual competences.
Main actor in part 3 is Jan Vogt from VDMA member HAHN Automation in Rheinböllen in the Hunsrück. He is team leader in the area "Robot & Vision" and explains the exciting facets of his job as well as the special features of HAHN as an employer.
Part 2 continues with Thomas Adermann, Lead System Engineer at DEUTZ AG. The young engineer has been with DEUTZ for about three years and works on the E-DEUTZ electrification project of the traditional engine manufacturer.
Young professionals find attractive jobs in mechanical engineering. Hardly any other industry is so versatile and brings different disciplines together so closely.
As a supplier and user, mechanical engineering is at the heart of today's and tomorrow's technologies, providing solutions and making things possible. Clever minds with
Motivation is welcome here - there is a lot to discover and to develop!
